OVERVIEW

The Bluff Mine is an open cut mine located in the southern Bowen Basin, near the township of Bluff and 20km east of Blackwater.

The mine is adjacent to the Blackwater rail line which connects it to the Port of Gladstone. A decision to place Bluff into care and maintenance was made in 2023 with final mining completed in November 2023 and final sales reported in March 2024. Optionality exists to extract remaining ~1.5Mt ROM coal.
